This is largely wrong.

Pangram labs is a company that offers extremely accurate AI detection. This can be bypassed via clever prompting and alterations, however Pangram has not yet entered the mainstream consciousness even amongst the tech-inclined.

Personally I only use it to know if certain articles/blog posts are worth reading. Pro-AI as I am, I don’t really want to read someone passing off an LLM output as their own word, and it’ll be interesting seeing how public perception towards this changes over time.
